QWAN KI DO - CHILDRENS

Research in the Junior sector of the World Union aims to develop educational, didactic and competitive activities specifically aimed at practitioners under the age of 13.

From a pedagogical point of view, Qwan-Ki-Do is proposed to children in the form of a game, setting a wide range of exercises to achieve greater enrichment of motor patterns and improve coordination.

Attention is dedicated to the needs of preparation and training of the child starting from the teaching pedagogy to finish with the associative activities.

A specific program has been set up for teaching children; in addition, specific courses and seminars are planned for the training of teachers in the sector.

Specific training for children increases all those fundamental skills that play an important role in the growth of the little practitioner. Furthermore, the child acquires greater self-confidence by responding positively even in the school and family environment.

The group and the bonds of friendship are the fundamental basis for our young practitioners; competition is seen as a means for improvement in practice and not as an end.

To ensure uniformity in the approach to teaching children, an international project was created. Its goal is to develop a homogeneous technical-pedagogical program for young practitioners of all nations; the common line of work thus developed through the different countries will prepare a new strong and supportive generation, ready to face the future and to make the martial art endure as a human development project.
