QWAN KI DO - ADULTS

Qwan Ki Do adapts well to both female and male physical morphology. Its characteristics of mobility, fluidity and speed of execution create conditions of equal favor for women in the practice of martial art as for men. In the field of martial arts there are disciplines that prefer movements based on greater muscular power and the strength of execution of single techniques and so that they favor the male morphology; instead, the performance characteristics of many Qwan Ki Do techniques place women in an equal position, allowing them to be able to exploit the female muscle morphology with equal effectiveness, normally characterized by less muscle mass and therefore suitable for execution in fluidity and in speed of sequences of blows and movements in agility. Another important consequence will be that female practitioners will not feel pushed to acquire male muscular morphological characteristics to arrive at a satisfactory interpretation of the martial art or to stand up to male practitioners.
