QWAN KI DO - FOR EVERYONE

One Way completes Qwan Ki Do as a Human Development Project

Qwan Ki Do - Sino-Vietnamese Kung Fu is a modern martial art based on knowledge handed down through centuries-old traditions; it has its roots in the history of Vietnam and ancient China; Qwan Ki Do, due to this dual origin, holds a great martial and cultural richness that is continually innovated through the comparison with the different social realities with which it comes into contact over time.

Qwan Ki Do offers great technical richness with the study of ancient Chinese and Vietnamese schools such as Shao Lin (Thieu Lam), Nga Mi (Wo Mei), Tang Lang (Duong Lang-Praying Mantis), Bach Hac (White Crane). Qwan Ki Do also contemplates the ancestral techniques of animals, typical of the Styles that make up the School.

Qwan Ki Do is the result of a balance between tradition and modernity, between action and wisdom, between strength and flexibility, between speed and power; these concepts of opposite and integrative polarity are found both in its technical-philosophical and in its organizational dimension.

Qwan Ki Do is not just a motor activity but a true educational method of the body and mind.

Its regular practice helps to grow in harmony with one's body, to set attainable goals and to know one's limits and overcome them: man is at the center of the event, even with his uncertainties and fears.

Thanks to its characteristics of flexibility, harmony and speed, Qwan Ki Do is aimed not only at the figure of the young adult as a privileged carrier of physical and muscular strength, but at all the different categories of gender and age; women, children, the elderly and the disabled find their full place in this martial art.

Qwan Ki Do places great importance on teaching children and adolescents. For children, the program is aimed at psychomotor development using games and circuits to promote the serene achievement of objectives. For adolescents, the practice of martial art favors socialization and conflict processing, teaching the responsible balance between respect for the rules and individual freedom, allowing them to gain self-confidence while fully respecting others.
